New! Explore Free2B’s LGBTQ+ Resources to help professionals better support LGBTQ+ Young People
We’re excited to launch two new digital resources, designed to support organisations to create more inclusive environments and help families better understand LGBTQ+ identities.
At Free2B, we’ve spent over 10 years working directly with LGBTQ+ young people and their families. We’ve drawn on this experience, alongside the voices and ideas of the young people we support, to develop practical resources that address some of the challenges professionals and families face.
Both resources have been co-produced with LGBTQ+ young people and professionally designed by agade, a creative agency specialising in inclusive and accessible design.
Parent & Family Guide
Supporting organisations to help families build understanding and confidence around LGBTQ+ identities.

Conversations about LGBTQ+ identities are important for all families, whether or not their children identify as LGBTQ+.
Our Parent & Family Guide gives parents and carers the information and practical tools to better understand LGBTQ+ identities, support young people and make these conversations a normal part of family life.
Co-produced with members of Free2B’s Rainbow Power youth council, the guide covers everything from sexuality, gender and identity labels to respecting boundaries, listening to young people and starting supportive conversations.
It’s a ready-to-use resource for local authorities, schools and other organisations to share with the families they support.
Every purchase includes a 24-page Information and Activity Pack, featuring activities families can complete together, and a 15-page accessible, screen-reader-friendly Information Pack.
Top Tips for Positive LGBTQ+ Allyship
Helping organisations put positive LGBTQ+ allyship into everyday practice.

Creating welcoming and inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ young people starts with the everyday actions we take.
Our Top Tips for Positive LGBTQ+ Allyship resource brings together six practical ways to demonstrate allyship, from challenging discrimination to making LGBTQ+ young people feel respected, valued and supported.
Co-produced with Free2B’s young people, each tip includes their own words and perspectives, helping organisations understand what meaningful allyship looks like to the young people themselves.
Ideal for local authorities, schools and other organisations, this professionally designed, seven-page resource can be shared with staff and volunteers, used in team discussions or displayed as a reminder of how we can all contribute to more inclusive environments.
