ZARIYAN – Youth Support Worker

ZARIYAN supports our youth project work within schools, events and at our youth clubs with a focus on encouraging participation from black and Asian young people and those from faith communities.

Zariyan is a qualified Social Worker and is keen to use his skills and experience to support LGBTQ+ people.

Zariyan has experience working with LGBTQ+ homelessness, 1-1 mentoring in schools as well as advocating for LGBTQ+ rights on a broader level.

He has a passion for educating professionals about the LGBTQ+ community as well as encouraging young LGBTQ+ people to follow their hearts and reach their goals.

In their spare time Zariyan sings in a choir, writes poetry and loves to host dinner parties. He enjoys meeting people and learning about new perspectives.
